Comsenso is committed to compliance with all national and international data protection and privacy laws and regulations (such as the EU GDPR), maintaining appropriate procedures and work instructions.

Privacy Statement

Personal data held on customers and other relations is classified as Confidential and Personnel data is classified as MT-Confidential, in line with the classification levels set out in our ISMS.

The policy applies to all personal data held by the company, including on servers, desktop computers, (wireless) notebook computers, tablets and smartphones. A Record of what personal data is held, where we store it and why, is kept in a Privacy Information Processing Register.

All staff is provided with training to ensure that they understand Comsenso’s policy and the procedures it has put into place to implement that policy.

A disciplinary process will be invoked in circumstances where this policy may have been transgressed.

Procedures how Comsenso complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (WBP) are also described in the ISMS.

So-called ‘bewerkersovereenkomsten’ (processing agreement) are agreed with all third parties handling personal and/or personal data for or on behalf of Comsenso.

Privacy Procedures

This privacy procedure sets out how Comsenso uses and protects any information that you give Comsenso when you use our services or website. Comsenso is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this web site, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Comsenso may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 1, 2018.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and job title
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as IP address, postcode, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer service and/or offers, as written down in our Information Processing Register

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies

  • The personal information that we need to provide services to you (such as IP addresses, email addresses, names and phone numbrs) is stored on Comsenso’s servers, dedicated to providing these services. These servers are protected by appropriate protective measures and are never connected to the open internet without these protective measures.
  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes.
  • If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at security-officer@comsenso.com.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, or if you want us to remove any personal data that we have on you,  please email us at the above address. We will promptly correct or remove any information found to be incorrect, invalid or that you want to be deleted.
